Crispy cookies preparation…
Step 1: Grease or line a baking sheet or pan with parchment paper or baking paper.
Step 2: Combine the butter and sugar and beat them till frothy.
Step 3: Add the ground almonds and sift the flour into the whipped mixture. Knead well to mix.
Step 4: Put the dough in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes. This step is crucial to guarantee that the dough is simple to deal with in the next phase and that the cookies maintain their form when baking.
Step 5: Set the air fryer to 320°F (160°C) of preheating. Technically, not all air fryers need to include this. To avoid the cookies spreading before the air fryer reaches temperature, you absolutely need the air fryer to be hot when you put the cookies in.
Step 6: Remove the dough from the fridge and roll it out to a thickness of 1/2 inch on a lightly dusted surface. If necessary, reroll the dough to use up all of it before cutting it into cookies using a cookie cutter.
Step 7: Set the prepared baking tray or pan with the cookies on it. Put the baking pan in the air fryer basket with care.
Step 8: Air fry the butter cookies to 180°C for 15 minutes, or until they are lightly brown. Batch-cook any leftover dough.
